Distress Call
Setting the distress
call
Important:
L You can set the distress call feature
using one of the handsets. The stored
numbers in speed dial key {III} can be
used for all registered handsets and
the base unit.
Adding to the distress
number list
You can store distress numbers (4
numbers max. for outside party's
numbers and intercom numbers) to the
distress list in the speed dial key {III}.
■ When you add an outside party's
number:

("Distress 1" to "Distress 4")
in the distress list. i m

Enter the party's name (16
characters max.). i M
L You can change the character
entry mode by pressing /
(page 48).

Enter the party's phone number (24

L To add other entries, repeat from
step 2.

Erasing an entry

Erasing all entries
Important:
L Distress call feature is automatically
turned off if all entries are erased.

Distress message
After the other party answers the
distress call, your pre-recorded distress
message is played back. If the other
party presses {1} in response to the
message, the distress message stops
and the conversation can begin.
