To Delete the Tape Library Data

Caution:
The Tape Library system offers a convenient back-up option,
in case you later regret having deleted the Tape Library data.
To have this option available, make sure you know on which
cassette you recorded last before the deletion. If that cassette
is not available, record for at least 15 minutes on any
cassette. (25 minutes in the EP mode)
Either of these two cassettes can then be used to restore the
Tape Library that you have deleted.
(To restore the Tape Library data, see page 30.)
To Delete the Tape Library Data of a Single
Video Cassette
If you press the LIBRARY button
inserted, operation steps 1 and 2 below are not necessary. In
this case, start from operation step 3.
1 Press the MENU button
buttons (341) to select "Tape Library" and "Library
contents" in this order.
2 Press the OK button
3 Press the Cursor buttons (FE)

4 When you have found the desired cassette, press the
CANCEL button .
5 If you are sure to delete the cassette's contents, press
the OK button .
≥ The cassette's Tape Library
data are now deleted from the
VCR's Tape Library.
≥ If you also want to delete the cassette number from
the VCR's Tape Library, press the OK button
to delete the cassette number.
If you want to keep the cassette number, press the
EXIT button instead of the OK button
6 Press the EXIT button
