Problem
I cannot send SMS
messages.
I cannot receive SMS
messages.
I cannot receive
voicemail message
notifications.
I cannot receive SMS
messages even though
the phone has enough
memory.
I cannot receive E-mail
messages.
Liquid or other form of
moisture has entered
the phone/charger.
Caution:
R To avoid permanent damage, do not use a microwave oven to speed up the drying process.

Cause/solution
R The phone could not connect to the service
centre. Confirm that the correct service
centre number is stored (page 26).
R Fixed dialling feature is enabled (page 27).
Disable it.
R SMS message transmission was interrupted.
Wait until the SMS message has been sent
before using other phone functions.
R When the SMS message memory is full, you
may not be able to receive any new
voicemail message notifications. Erase
unnecessary SMS messages to receive new
voicemail message notifications (page 17).
R Some kinds of SMS messages can be
received only by the SIM card. Check the
memory status of the SIM card (page 26)
and erase unnecessary SMS messages
(page 17).
R This phone only supports SMS message
services. Contact your network operator/
service provider for details of this service.
R Disconnect the AC adaptor from the phone/
charger. Remove the SIM card and battery
from the phone and leave to dry for at least 3
days. After the phone/charger are completely
dry, insert the SIM card and battery into the
phone. Then reconnect the AC adaptor to
charge fully before use. If the phone does not
work properly, contact your place of
purchase or nearest Panasonic service
centre.
