Cause/solution
R Make sure the SIM card and battery are
installed correctly (page 3).
R Fully charge the battery (page 3).
R Only characters supported by this phone can
be displayed.
R Change the display language (page 29).
R Battery charge is low. Fully charge the
battery (page 3).
R Clean the battery ends ( ,
charge contacts with a dry cloth and charge
again.
R It is time to replace the battery (page 3).
R You are using the phone in an area with high
electrical interference. Move to a location
away from sources of interference.
R The GSM network signal is weak. Check the
current status and move to a new location
until more bars are visible (page 5).
R The ringer volume is turned off. Adjust ringer
volume (page 31).
R Night mode is on. Turn it off (page 19).
R Outgoing calls are barred. Deactivate the
outgoing call bar settings (page 28).
R Your call is withheld. Change the show my ID
setting to a setting other than "Hide
ID" (page 28).
R Fixed dialling feature is enabled (page 27).
Disable it.
R Incoming calls are barred. Deactivate the
incoming call bar settings (page 28).
