INSTALLATION

OVERSIZE CAST FACEPLATE INSTALLATION

Enamel & Cast components are very fragile. Use extreme care when handling.

10 Bolts - 1/4-20 x 1/2 Hex Head
10 Washers - 1/4 split lock
12 Washers - 1/4 fl at x 3/4
2 Pushnut
2 Capscrew
2 Nut Retainer
2 Insulation
1 3 ft. Gasket
1 Logo
1. Ensure the unit is out from the fi replace opening by at least 4" before
assembling the faceplate.
2. Remove the 4 bolts and washers on each side of the unit (shown
below).
3. Secure the side faceplate mounting plates to the left and right side of
the unit using 4 bolts and washers (removed in step 2) per bracket
as shown in diagram 1. Leave bolts loose to allow for adjustment.

4. Attach the 2 nut retainers to the top of the fi rebox as shown in
diagram 2. May need to be tapped lightly into place with a
hammer.

5. Place the mantel top on the fi rebox ensuring that the screw holes in
the mantel top line up with the nut retainers. See diagram 3.

6. Take the 2 capscrews provided and place a washer (1/4 x 3/4) and
pushnut over each capscrew, as shown in diagram 4.
