    InsTallIng The baTTeRY Slide open and remove the BATTERY DOOR and insert 2 AA alkaline batteries according to the polarity indicators inside the compartment . 2 .     calIbRaTIng The scanneR Place the Scanner on the White Balance Calibration Sheet and press the POWER/SCAN button for two seconds to turn the unit on . 2 . Press and hold the C/BW button . While holding the C/BW button, press the POWER/SCAN button once to enter into auto-calibration mode .
