    InsTallIng The baTTeRY Slide open and remove the BATTERY DOOR and insert 2 AA alkaline batteries according to the polarity indicators inside the compartment . 2 . Replace the BATTERY DOOR and slide closed . Note: the BatterY INdIcatOr on the led screen will reveal if the batteries need to be replaced.

    calIbRaTIng The scanneR Place the Scanner on the White Balance Calibration Sheet and press the POWER/SCAN button for two seconds to turn the unit on . 2 . Press and hold the C/BW button . While holding the C/BW button, press the POWER/SCAN button once to enter into auto-calibration mode .
