ing light symbol is displayed in

the multifunction display.
Manual operation of the
light when the automatic
system is switched on
with daytime riding lights
If the button for the daytime
riding light is pressed, the day-
time riding light is switched off
z
and the low beam headlight
and front side lights will be ac-
tivated (e. g. when driving into
tunnels, where the automatic
daytime riding light only re-
sponds with some delay due to
the ambient brightness). If the
daytime riding light is switched
off the auxiliary headlight is
switched on again.
If the daytime riding light
button is pressed again, the
automatic daytime riding light
is activated again, that is, the
daytime riding light will be
switched on again once the
required ambient brightness is
switched on again.

Turn indicators

Operate the flashing turn
indicators
OE
Switch on the ignition.
Push button 1 to the left to
switch on the left flashing turn
indicators.
Push button 1 to the right to
switch on the right flashing turn
indicators.
Centre button 1 to cancel the
flashing turn indicators.
The turn indicators are can-
celled automatically after
you have ridden for approximately
10 seconds and covered a dis-
tance of about 300 m.
Hazard warning
flashers
Operating hazard warning
flashers
Switch on the ignition.
The hazard warning flash-
ers place a strain on the
battery. Do not use the hazard
warning flashers for longer than
absolutely necessary.
If you press a turn-indic-
ator button with the ignition
switched on, the turn-indicator
function is activated instead of
the hazard warning flashers, and
remains active until you release
