• This feature might not be available in your region.
• To synchronize with the Google web server, you
must have a Google account. If you do not have a
Google account, sign up for a Google account by
selecting Create on the first setup screen.
To set up a server account:
1. In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings →
Accounts and sync.
2. Select Add account and select an account type.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
account setup.
For online community services, such as Facebook,
Twitter, or MySpace, enter your user name and
password and select Log in.
To activate automatic sync:
If you add or edit data in any of the applications on the web

(Google Mail, Calendar, and Contacts), the updated
information will appear on your phone, and vice-versa.
1. In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings →
Accounts and sync.
2. Enable Auto-sync (touch the box to enter a check
mark).
3. Select the applications that you want to synchronize.
To exclude applications from automatic synchronization,
clear the checkbox next to the application that you do not
want to synchronize.
To synchronize data manually:
1. In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings →
Accounts and sync.
2. Select an account.
3. Press [
] → Sync now. Your phone will start
synchronizing the data you have selected for
synchronization.
