Customize Your Phone
Get more from your phone by customizing it to suit your
needs.
To set the current date and time:
1. In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings → Date
and time.
2. Set the date and time and change other options as
needed.
To turn the touch tone on or off:
• In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings → Sound
→ Audible touch tones.
To adjust the volume of the ring tones:
• In the Idle mode, press the Volume key up or down to
adjust the ringtone volume.
To switch to or from Silent mode:
To mute or unmute your phone, do one of the following:
• In the Idle mode, select Phone → Dialer and tap and
hold #.
• In Idle mode, press and hold [
mode.
• In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings → Sound
→ Silent mode.
To change your ringtone:
1. In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings →
Sound → Phone ringtone.
2. Select a ringtone in the list and select OK.
To activate animation for switching windows:
• In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings →
Display → Animation → Some animations or All
animations.
