• HDTV 720p and H.264
AXIS Q6034-E offers HDTV 720p in compliance with SMPTE 296M standard of 1280 x 720 pixel
resolution, full frame rate, high color fidelity and a 16:9 format.
Outdoor-ready
•
AXIS Q6034-E is designed for quick and easy installation in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. There is no
need to purchase and mount a separate outdoor housing. It eliminates the cost and complexity of pre-mounting a
camera in an enclosure and minimizes the risk of incorrect mounting, which helps to ensure optimal camera
performance.
With an IP66 and NEMA 4X rating, it is dust tight and offer protection against high-pressure water jets. AXIS
Q6034-E has a built-in heater, fans and a removable sunshield, allowing the camera to be used in temperatures
ranging from -40 °C up to 50 °C (-40 °F up to 122 °F).
Arctic Temperature Control

Arctic Temperature Control allows the camera to not only function at -40 °C (-40 °F) but also power up at that
temperature.
18x zoom with autofocus
•
AXIS Q6034-E offers a powerful 18x optical and 12x digital zoom with autofocus, providing outstanding crisp, clear
and rich detail of both zoomed in and zoomed out images. Due to its HDTV resolution, the 18x zoom provides not only
a level of detail that is comparable to a 36x-zoom, 4CIF camera, but also the extra advantage of a wider, 16:9 field of
view in zoomed-in views.
• High PoE (Power over Ethernet)
AXIS Q6034-E is powered through High PoE, which simplifies installation since only one cable is needed for carrying
power, as well as video and pan/tilt/zoom controls. With High PoE, the camera can operate even during a power
failure as the network can be connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply. A High PoE midspan is supplied with the
camera.
• Active Gatekeeper functionality
The Active Gatekeeper functionality enables AXIS Q6034-E to automatically move to a preset position upon motion
detection in a pre-defined area, and track the detected object.
Multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG streams

AXIS Q6034-E offers the most efficient video compression format H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC), which saves up to
80% in bandwidth and storage use compared with Motion JPEG without compromising image quality. The camera
also supports Motion JPEG for increased flexibility. AXIS Q6034-E supports multiple, individually configured streams
in HDTV 720p.
Local storage
•
The camera comes with a built-in slot for an SD/SDHC memory card, enabling several days of recordings to be stored
locally without any external equipment.
• Progressive Scan
Progressive scan provides full resolution images of moving objects without distortion.
Fast pan & Tilt
•
With a maximum speed of 450º/second, and high precision, low-speed movement at 0.05º/second,
AXIS Q6034-E can follow a walking person at a distance of 400 m (1300 ft.) and pan/tilt to any preset in less than 1.5
seconds.
• Extended tilt range of 20º above the horizon
The camera can tilt 20º above the horizon for a total tilt range of 220º, making it possible for the camera to see higher
than where it is mounted. This is especially beneficial when monitoring over uneven terrain. The extended tilt range
(over the standard 180°) also makes installation easier since the camera does not have to be mounted 100% upright.
Intelligent video capabilities

AXIS Q6034-E has both video motion detection and auto tracking, which allows a moving object within the camera's
field of view to be detected and followed automatically.
Advanced security and network management
•
AXIS Q6034-E offers the highest degree of security, including HTTPS encrypted video streams without affecting
performance and IPv6 support in addition to IPv4. IPv6 is a requirement in many large installations.
