1.3.2 Placement direction

When installing the mainboard, make sure that you place it into the chassis in the correct
orientation. The edge with external ports goes to the rear part of the chassis as shown in the image
below.

1.3.3 Screw holes

Place nine screws into the holes indicated by circles to secure the mainboard to the chassis.

Do not overtighten the screws! Doing so can damage the mainboard.

1.4 Central Processing Unit (CPU)

1.4.1 Overview

The AMD Athlon. 64 processor has a gold triangle in one corner. This mark indicates the processor
Pin A1 that should match a specific corner of the CPU socket.
