NOTE: This section applies only to computer models with WWAN capability.
NOTE: If there is a SIM inserted in the SIM slot, it must be removed before disassembling
the computer. Be sure that the SIM is reinserted in the SIM slot after reassembling the computer.
Before removing the SIM, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

1. Press in on the SIM (1). (The module is partially ejected from the SIM slot.)
2. Remove the SIM (2) from the SIM slot.
