4.2.2 BATTERY INSTALLATION/REMOVAL
1. To install the battery pack, insert the battery pack into the bottom of the
transceiver, then turn the Battery Pack Lock to the "LOCK" position with a
coin.
2. To remove the battery pack, turn the transceiver off, open the Battery Pack
Lock on the bottom of the transceiver, then slide out the battery from the
transceiver.
The battery lock must be set to "LOCK" position to ensure water integ-
rity and from the battery coming loose.

The belt clip is designed to snap and lock
into place. To remove the belt clip you may
find it necessary to use a flat head screw
driver to unlock the
belt clip from the ra-
dio as shown in the
image below.
