Switching on the DVD player

Switch the DVD-Player to stand-by with

Switch on the DVD player by pressing » « on the remote control.
Note:
The DVD player must be in stop mode for the following settings. All settings
which are made via the main menu are then only activated if they have been
ended beforehand using »SETUP«.

Selecting the language of the screen menus

You can choose between twelve menu languages. The preset setting is
»English«.

Call up the main menu with »SETUP« in stop mode.

Select the »Installation« menu item with
»ENTER«.
– The current menu language is displayed against a blue background in the
»Player Language« line.

Select the menu language you require by pressing »ENTER« repeatedly.

Press »SETUP« to conclude the setting.

Adapting the DVD player to the television set

Setting the TV standard
The colour norm of the DVD player's screen menus has to be adapted to the
format of your television or flat screen.
Select »NTSC« for televisions with the NTSC standard, or »PAL« for those with
the PAL standard. Factory setting is »PAL«.
Select »Auto« for televisions with multi-norm, and the TV norm follows that on
the disc.

Select the » TV standard« line with »S« or »A« and activate with
PAL
»ENTER«.
Auto

Select the desired setting (» NTSC«, » PAL« or » Auto«) with »S« or »A«
and confirm with »ENTER«.
Note:
You can watch any DVD on a television with the PAL system, since it always
converts the format. Smearing effects may occur, depending on the type of
conversion used.
5 Press »SETUP« to conclude the setting.
