Your camera is equipped with five flash modes:
Auto flash. The flash fires automatically
whenever extra lighting is needed.
Red-eye reduction. The flash fires
twice to reduce the red-eye effect.
Always on. The flash fires whenever
you press the shutter button regardless
of lighting conditions.
Slow sync. The flash fires with a slow
shutter speed.
Off. The flash is turned off.

• Using Macro

Macro
mode
is
designed
for
photography.If Macro is enabled, you can
capture the detail and sharpness of a very
close subject.
To activate macro:
• Press the Macro/Left button of your camera
to enable/disable macro.
If macro is enabled, the macro icon is
displayed on the LCD display.

• Using the SCN Menu
The Function Menu is used to adjust capture settings in the Record Mode.
It contains My Mode, Resolution, Quality, EV Compensation, White
Balance, ISO, Metering, and Color Mode.
NOTE:
Press the SCN button of your camera to launch the Function Menu.
• Press the SCN button again to close the menu.
The Menu bar displays the current
status of your camera settings. Only
the available functions for the settings
are shown as an icon on the menu bar.
The available options for each
item on the menu bar are shown
in the Menu options.
Use the

to move through the
menu selections then press the OK
button to save and apply changes.

My Mode

The My Mode function displays the 6 most
recent modes used in order. When you
move through the different modes in the
menu options, the items on the menu bar
change simultaneously to the corresponding
available settings.
