• Taking Macro Pictures

Use this mode to capture subjects close to the lens
at the distance of 5.9 to 20 inches (15 to 50 CM).
1. Turn on the camera and set the camera to
Capture mode.
2. Press the Macro button to activate the Macro
feature and the
screen.
3. Frame your subject using the LCD screen or viewfinder.
4. Press the Shutter button half way and align the focus mark on the
subject you want to capture. When the focus is locked, the focus
mark will turn green and two beep sounds are heard.
IMPORTANT!
When the red focus mark appears on the LCD screen (when it is on), there is
difficulty in focusing the subject. Release the Shutter button, recompose the
scene and press the Shutter button halfway to reset the focus.
5. Press Shutter button completely down to take a picture, holding the
camera steady.
6. If the Quick View feature is activated, the picture just taken will be
shown on the LCD screen (if it is on) for a short while.
NOTE:
In Macro mode, only Flash Off and Flash On modes are available for
shooting.
