To set your handset for automatic base
selection
If you are moving around, and likely to lose
contact with your base unit, your handset
can be automatically switch to the first
available base unit. If this is set and you are
in the area where the signals of two base
units are overlapping, your handset will
select the strongest signal.
The handset must be switched

Display will show the base unit selected
(unless de-activated. See page 33 to

You can change automatic registration at a
base unit to manual registration. So if you are
in an area where the range of two base units
overlap, you can specify which base unit (and
which outgoing line) you prefer to use.
