    Getting started Charging the battery Use the charging dock to charge the battery before using it for the first time. A computer can be also used to charge the device by connecting them via the USB cable. Use only Samsung-approved chargers, batteries, and cables. Unapproved chargers or cables can cause the battery to explode or damage the device.

  • Page 10 Getting started Plug the small end of the charger into the multipurpose jack of the charging dock, and plug the large end of the charger into an electric socket. Connecting the charger improperly may cause serious damage to the device. Any damage caused by misuse is not covered by the warranty.

    Getting started Connecting to a mobile device By connecting the device to another mobile device, you can use applications and features on the connected mobile device. To connect the device to another mobile device, use the charging dock that has an NFC tag and an embedded Bluetooth address that matches your device.
  • Page 14 Getting started Connecting manually If your mobile device does not have an NFC feature you must connect the devices manually. The steps and screens may vary depending on the mobile devices. Access Samsung Apps on the mobile device, and then download and install Gear Manager.

Locking and unlocking the device When not in use, lock the device to prevent unwanted operation. Pressing the Power button on the Clock screen turns off the screen and puts the device into lock mode.
