View Denial of Service (DoS) Attack Logs

A content filter log is a detailed record of the Denial of Service (DoS) attacks directed at your
network. You can set up email notification or you can view the logs on the gateway.
To receive notification of attacks by email:
1.
In the main menu, under Content Filtering, select Logs.
2.
Enter an email address.
This address is the full email address to which you want the gateway to send logs.
3.
Enter the SMTP Server Name.
Type the outgoing SMTP mail server of your ISP. If you leave this box blank, the gateway
does not send logs.
4.
Check the email Alerts Enable check box.
5.
Click Apply.
6.
To send the log to the contact email address, click email Log.
7.
To clear the log entries from the display, click Clear Log.
8.
To refresh the display, click Refresh.
