The defi nitions below describe the controls and functions
of the Engine Operating Panel (Figure 5).
1. Panel Light - Normally used in dark places or at
night. When activated, panel will luminate. When the
generator is not in use, turn the panel light switch to
the OFF position.
2. Panel Light Switch- When activated, will turn on control
panel light.
3. Oil Pressure Alarm Lamp - Indicates that the oil
pressure is too low or high. This condition will cause the
engine to shut down.
4. Water Temperature Alarm Lamp - Indicates that the
engine water temperature is too high. This condition will
cause the engine to shut down.
5. Fuel Filter Alarm Lamp - Indicates that the water level
in the fuel fi lter has risen. Drain the water in the fuel fi lter
strainer when this condition occurs.
6. Pre-heat Lamp - Indicates (ON) when the engine
is ready for starting during cold weather operating
conditiions.
