How to sort the clothes
Sort by surface texture

man-made fibers and napped fabrics
like velveteen and corduroy—attract
lint, and must be dried separately.

Normally, if you sort clothes
correctly for washing, you will
have properly sorted drying loads.
Here's an additional suggestion for
good dryer load make up:

before washing.
Empty pockets, brush out cuffs,
zip zippers, snap snaps, hooks and
buttons.
c Do any necessary mending—
rips, hems, tears.
Check all items for areas of heavy
soil or stain and remove stains.

Soaking-a
good way to
loosen deep soils and stains.
A thorough soaking with detergent
or special soaking agent is another
wayto removeheavy soils, embedded
