Forwarding alerts to an SNMP server

The IPS Settings > Alert Notification > SNMP action specifies a server to which alert information
will be sent from Manager. You can configure more than one SNMP server to where you
want to send alert messages. The SNMP Forwarder List page displays the SNMP servers
you have configured. The fields in the table are described within the configuration steps
that follow.
Note:
Do not use a broadcast IP address (that is, 255.255.255.255) as the target
SNMP server for forwarding alerts.
To configure an SNMP server to receive alerts from your Manager, do the following:
Select IPS Settings > Alert Notification > SNMP.
