PowerMate CT 815 Desktop Rear Connector Locations

The rear of the system has the following external connectors.
Keyboard port — attach a PS/2-compatible keyboard (101-key or 102-key) with a 6-pin

mini DIN connector to this port.
Mouse port — attach a PS/2-compatible mouse to this port.

Printer port — attach a parallel printer with a 25-pin connector to this port.

USB ports — use the two USB ports to connect up to 127 USB configured peripheral

devices such as a printer, monitor, modem, mouse, and scanner. A third USB port is on the
front of the system.
Serial port — serial port 1 (COM1) allows connection of serial devices with 9-pin

connectors. The devices include a pointing device, serial printer, or modem. Some systems
come with a second serial port (COM2) installed in an expansion board slot.
Fax/modem ports — some systems come with a V.90 rated PCI fax/modem board. The

fax/modem board allows the connection of a phone line to the computer for fax and data
communications functions.
