    • Install anti-tip bracket packed with range • See Installation Instructions If you pull the range out and away from the wall for any reason, make sure the Anti-Tip device is engaged when the range is pushed back against the wall.
  • Page 3 (Refer to section on electrical require- ments.) When installing your range in your home, make sure all local codes and ordinances are followed exactly as stated. Make sure the wall coverings, counter top and cabinets around the range can withstand heat (up to 200°F) generated by the cooktop.
  • Page 4 13". CLEARANCES • You must keep a clearance of at least 2" between the sides of cooktop portion of range and any material that could catch fire, from the cooktop upward, to a height of at least 18".

  • Page 6 You may order either of these kits from your Service Center. The backguard kit will attach to the back of the range and fill in the space between the back of the range and wall. When using the backsplash kit, the post-formed backsplash of the countertop must be cut.

    Electrical Connections The Three-Prong Outlet The range cord has a three-prong plug and must be plugged into a properly grounded three-hole outlet. The outlet must be in a standard 120 Volt, 60 Hertz AC household circuit. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the grounding prong from the range cord.
