Chapter 5. Status indicator

The status indicators show the current status of your computer.
Indicator Indicator Behavior and Description

System status The illuminated dot in the ThinkPad logo on the tablet and the keyboard dock functions as a
indicator system status indicator. The following list describes each status of the indicator and the
corresponding meaning.
• Blinking for three times: The tablet or the keyboard dock is connected to an ac power
• On: The tablet is on and in use.
• Off: The tablet is off or in hibernation mode.
• Slow-blinking: The tablet is in sleep mode.
• Fast-blinking: The tablet is entering hibernation mode or sleep mode.

Fn Lock indicator When the Fn Lock indicator is on, the Fn Lock function is enabled.

Speaker-mute When the speaker-mute indicator is on, the speakers are muted.
