Maintenance box at the end of its service life
The maintenance box is at the end of its
service life.
Maintenance box error
The maintenance box is not installed.
The maintenance box is not detected.
The maintenance box cannot be used with
the printer.
The maintenance box cover is open.
Cartridge lever unlocked
The cartridge lever is in the unlocked
position.
Maintenance box nearing the end of its service life
The maintenance box is nearing the end of
its service life.
Paper out
Paper is not loaded.
Double feed error
The printer feeds more than one sheet of
paper at a time.
Paper jam
The paper is jammed.
Paper size error
The paper size set in the printer driver and
the size of loaded paper differ.
Duplex unit error
The duplex unit is not installed.
Replace the maintenance box.
Install the maintenance box.
Install the maintenance box again.
Install a genuine maintenance box.
Close the maintenance box cover.
Move the cartridge lever to the locked
position.
Obtain a new maintenance box.
Load the paper, and then press the
) Paper/Cancel button.
Remove the jammed paper, and then press
the ) Paper/Cancel button.
Remove the jammed paper.

Match the paper size setting.
