NOTE: This section lists some of the steps required to configure a Factory Integrated Model. To ensure only valid configurations are
ordered, HP recommends the use of an HP approved configurator. Contact your local sales representative for information on
configurable product offerings and requirements.
NOTE: Factory Integrated Models must start with a CTO Server.
NOTE: FIO indicates that this option is only available as a factory installable option.
NOTE: All Factory Integrated Models will be populated with sufficient hard drive blanks based on the number of initial hard drives
ordered with the server.
Step 1: Base Configuration (choose one of the following configurable models)

Factory Integrated Model ships with:
2 x HP Smart Socket Guides for fast processor installation
Drive Cage - 4-Large Form Factor
24 DIMM slots for RDIMM, LRDIMM,UDIMM and HDIMM SmartMemory installation
(1) FlexibleLOM connection point: (see Step2: HP FlexibleLOM NIC section below for NIC
choices to populate the embedded connector)
Smart Array P420i Controller (Cache connection for 512MB, 1GB and 2GB FBWC options)
I/O slots - 2 Slots come standard:
Slot 1 - Low Profile x 8 PCIe 3.0
Slot 2 - Full-Height/Half-Length x 16 PCIe 3.0
System Fans - 6 (2 additional fans included with second processor)
USB - 4 Rear, 2 Front, 1 Internal
1 Internal SD slot
On System Server Management - (HP iLO Management Engine) (embedded)
SID - System Insight Display(Active Health Indicator)
Power Supply not included - choose from Power Options section
NOTE: With new options available for Networking solutions and Rack Rail Kits these
options are no longer standard on-board with this Model Part Number. Please see the
Networking and HP Rack Options below for optional required options.
