Setting the Number of Samples

1.
From the Main Screen, press

From page one of the Setup Screen, use
highlight "Number of Samples".

Select the number of samples by pressing

When the desired number appears, press
(RETURN) to return to the Main Screen.
When choosing the number of samples, "INF"
denotes infinite and the unit will continue to take
samples until the stop key is pressed.
Enabling and Setting a Password for the First
Time
The Particle Counter's preference settings can be locked
using the password feature. To enable and set the
password for the first time, do the following:

From the Main Screen, press

From page one of the Setup Screen, use
highlight "Password".

The screen changes to the Login screen. Notice the
Particle Counter's serial number in the upper-right
corner of the display.

before going to the main screen. If the correct
password is entered, the preference settings can be
changed. If the incorrect password is entered, the
user is taken back to the startup screen to try again.
