After you choose, the setup program automatically installs Matrox
software and drivers.
6.
Change the diskette according to
the message and continue with
installation.
7.
After setup, remove the diskette
in your drive A:, then click
restart your computer and for all
changes to take effect.
8.
If this is a first-time installation,
your display is using a 640 × 480
display mode with 256 colors. To
adjust software monitor settings:

for DOS, see Software Setup - DOS on page 10.

for Windows 95/98, see Software Setup - Windows 95/98 on page 12
•
for Windows NT 4.0, see Software Setup - Windows NT 4.0 on page
14.
•
for OS/2, see Software Setup - OS/2 on page 16.
To access Matrox PowerDesk programs and on-line documentation, type
in the DOS prompt and press Enter.

Monitor setup
To check your monitor settings:

Click the

Click the Matrox monitor button, select

to let the MGA Matrox display driver automatically use the

correct settings for your monitor.
Display setup
After checking your monitor's software settings, you can change your display
resolution, color palette and other MGA Matrox PowerDesk settings. To
access Matrox display property sheets,
