Throughput Class - Option 7

The Throughput Class option specifies the value of the CCITT default throughput class assignment facility. This is
the maximum throughput class that may be negotiated for calls on this link when the Throughput Negotiation option
is set to enabled. The value specified must be one that reflects the link speed or lower:

Default:
[10]
Range:

Throughput Class Negotiation - Option 8

When Throughput Class Negotiation is disabled, throughput class negotiation will not be accepted in incoming call
requests and call accepts nor will it be output in these packets on this link. This link will be considered non-
negotiating and the default throughput class will therefore apply.
When Throughput Class Negotiation is enabled, all outgoing call requests and call accepts will contain the
throughput class facility. This facility in incoming call requests and call accepts will be checked for legality.
