Problem/Question
How do I know my StreetPilot is in
USB Mass Storage Mode?
My computer never senses that
the StreetPilot is connected.
I cannot find any drives named
"GARMIN" in my list of drives.
A message saying "Unsafe
Removal of Device" appears when
I unplug the USB cable.

If you have several network drives mapped on your computer, Windows may have trouble
assigning drive letters to your StreetPilot drives. Follow the steps on the
drive letters.
When you are ready to disconnect your StreetPilot from your computer, double-click the
or Eject
icon in your system tray. Select "USB Mass Storage Device" and click Stop. Select
the StreetPilot drives and click OK. You can disconnect your StreetPilot from your computer now.
