    Introduction ® The IBM iLM300 MicroPortable Projector is specifically designed for the mobile presenter. It generates crisp, clear images using Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology and features an M1-DA connector. The projector is easy to connect, use, transport, and maintain.

    Attention: Do not look directly into the projection lens when the lamp is turned on. The bright light might harm your eyes. Attention: Follow these guidelines when working with the projector. v Do not block the grills on the projector. Restricting the airflow can cause it to overheat and turn off. If this happens, you must wait one minute before attempting to start the projector again.

  • Page 17 5. Turn device ON. Starting the projector and adjusting the image Use the following procedure to start the projector and adjust the image. 1. Remove the lens cap. 2. Attach the power cord to the side of the projector, and then into an electrical outlet. It is good practice to use a surge-protected power strip.

    Using the remote control Use theL and R buttons on the remote control to advance slides in your presentation. Connect the USB mouse connector on the projector computer cable to the computer. See “Connecting a computer to the projector” on page 4 for details. Point the remote control at the projection screen or at the front of the projector (not at the computer).

  • Page 23 Adjust the general brightness of the image from values of 0 - 100. Color Adjust the color intensity from values of 0 - 100. Keystone Adjust the angle of the image to achieve a square image, or to fit the image to the projection area. For direct access to keystone correction, just press the left and right arrows on the projector keypad, without entering the on-screen menu.

    To access the Setup menu, press the Menu button to display the Basic menu. Press the down arrow to highlight Setup, then press Select to open the Setup menu.     During the warranty period, assistance for replacement or exchange of defective components is available. In addition, if your IBM option is installed in an IBM computer, you might be entitled to service at your location. Your technical support representative can help you determine the best alternative.
