TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Engine is running, but no
AC output is available.
Engine runs good at no-load but "bogs
down" when loads are connected.
Engine will not start; or starts

1. One of the circuit breakers is open.

3. Poor connection or defective
cord set.

1. Short circuit in a connected load.

Run/Stop Switch set to STOE
Dirty air cleaner.
Out of gasoline.
Stale gasoline.
Spark plug wire not connected
to spark plug,
Bad spark plug.
Water in gasoline.

10, Intake valve stuck open or closed.
11, Engine compression

12. Failed battery.
Correction
1. Reset circuit breaker.
2. Contact Generac service facility.
3. Check and repair.
4. Connect another device that
is in good condition.

load,

1. Set switch to RUN,
2. Clean or replace air cleaner.
