About the automatic icemaker.
A newly-installed refrigerator may take 12 to 24 hours to begin making ice.

The icemaker will produce seven cubes
per cycle--al)l)roxilnately 100-130 cubes
in a 24-hem" period, depending on
ft'eezet" COilll)aYtillen[ [ei/lpei'attli'e_

openings and other use conditions.
There are two bpes ot icemakets: power
switch models and teeler amt models.
If the refl_igerator is operated befin'e
the water connection is made to the
icemaket; set the power switch to 0 (Off)
or move the ti_eler amt to the STOP (up)
position.
When the refrigerator has been
connected to the water sui)i)ly, set the
power switch to the I (on) position or move
tile teeler aml to the ON (down) position.
On power switch models, the green light
will
come on.
You will hear a buzzing
sotmd each time
the icemaker fills with water.
The icemaker will fill with water when
it cools to 15°K A newly-installed
reli'igerator may take 12 to 24 hours
to begin making ice cubes.
Throw away the first few batches of ice
to allow the water line to clear.
Be sure nothing interferes with the
sweep of the teeler ann.
When the bin fills to the level of the
feeler ann, the icemaker will stop
producing ice.
It is nm'mal for several cubes to
be joined
together.
If ice is not used fl'equentl> old ice cubes
will become cloudy, taste stale and shrink.
On power switch
models,
the green power
light will blink it ice cubes get stuck in the
icemaket: To correct this, set the power
switch to 0 (of/) and retrieve the cubes. Set
the power switch to I (on) to restart the
icemaket: _Mter the icemaker has been
turned on again, there will be a delay of
about 45 minutes heft)re the icemaker
t'esttt/t es ol)et'ation.
NOTE:Inhomeswith lower-than-average w ater
pressure, you may hear the lcemaker cycle
multiple
times when
making
one batch of ice.
