► OR when editing the contact, press
and hold an unassigned line key.
This will automatically assign the
speed dial index which is required
to assign that line key as a speed
dial for the contact. A confirmation
beep is heard when this happens.
On a default configuration of the phone,
there could be up to five line keys available
for speed dial.

Multiple Lines

SoundPoint IP 601 SIP can support up to six
®
lines. Lines can be configured for private or
shared lines.

Multiple Keys Per Line

Each line on the phone can be configured to
have more than one line key associated with
it. If this is the case, the display could look
like this:
Incoming calls to this line will be distributed
evenly among the available keys. Similarly,
outgoing calls will be distributed.
To quickly view a complete list of assigned speed dial
entries, press . Dial directly from a selected number.
