Do
n ot disconnect the power source. Donot disconnect the USBcable unless you first use
the computer to safely end the connection.
- Whenthe camcorder is in _ mode and is connectedto the computer with the supplied
USBcable, the camcorder cannot be operated. Disconnectingthe USBcable or power source
while this message appears may result in permanent loss of the recordings in the camcorder.
Usethe computer's Safely Remove Hardware function to end the connection and disconnect
the USBcable before using the camcorder.
- Totransfer files to the camcorder,power the camcorder using the compact power adapter and
only then connect it to the computer using the supplied USBcable.
File name error
- The folder and file numbers have reachedtheir maximum value. Set I_ 0 _ _> [File
Numbering[ to [Reset[and delete all the MP4 movies (_ 57) and photos(E[_ 58) on the
memory card or initialize it (E[_ 33).
Initialize only using the camcorder
- Thereis a problem with the file system that preventsaccessingthe selected memory. Initialize
the memory with this camcorder (_ 33).
LCDScreen has been dimmed Use the [LCD Backlight] setting to change the brightness
- Changethe |_ 0 | _> [LCDBacklight] setting to [Normal] or [Bright[.
May not be possible to record movies on this memory card
- Youmay not be able to record movies on a memory card without a Speed Classrating or with
one rated SD Speed Class2. Replacethe memory cardwith one rated SD Speed Class4, 6 or
10.
Mem. Card Number of scenes already at maximum
- The memory card already contains the maximum number of AVCHDscenes (3,999 scenes);
no further scenes can be copiedonto the memory card. Delete some scenes (E[_ 56) to free
some space.
Mem. Card Unable to recognizethe data
- The memory card contains scenesrecorded using a video configuration that is not supported
(PALor SECAM).Playback the recordings in the memory card with the device originally used
to record them.
Memorycard cover is open
- After inserting a memory card, closethe memorycard slot cover.
Memorycard is full
- The memory card is full. Delete somerecordings (_ 56, 58) to free some space or replace
the memory card.
Memorycard is write-protected
- The LOCKswitch onthe memorycard is set to prevent accidental erasure.Change the posi-
tion of the LOCK switch.
