Anothermethod ofinstallation involves the use ofa
chainkitand standoff h ardware.
To Install Cooler Using A Chain Kit
(seeFigures 20,21, 22)
1. Attachscrew hooks to outside window frame
approximatelytwofeet above cooler. Be sure
hook is insertedto full depth in framefor
maximumstrength. Attachchain to each hook.
2. If your cooler does not have holes
predrilled, drill 3/16" holes 1"above each pad
frame corner at rear of cooler cabinet. Bolt
hanger tabsto cooler (notched end up) using
machine screws and nuts provided.
3. Placeleg levelingbolts in holes in cabinet front
withnut, washer and angleto outside of cabinet.
4. Checkwindow sill offset.., to determine the
thickness of the wood strip for clearance. This
clearance will providespace for the grille and
winterizingcover ffused. Secure wood strip with
nails or screws. Fastenthe twobrackets with
screws provided, making sure theyace square
withthewindow sash.
5. Placecooler in windowallowing duct to rest on
sill. Usingchain link that brings cooler closest to
levelposition, place link over hanger tab. Turn
link to lock it into notches on hanger tab.
6. Place leg levelingbracket on leg levelingbolt with
bracket against wall. Adjustbolts and chain to
level cooler. Secure brackets to wall witheight
#10 Phillipshead screws provided.
Note: Cooler may need to be re-leveled later to
compensate for added weight of water
7. Optional window fillerkit is availablefrom your
dealer (RK227).

Electrical Wiring
on Window Models
Your unit has been pre-wired at the factory so
further wiring is not necessary Figure 23 shows the
wiring diagramof your unit in case of electrical
component replacement. For motor wiring use
diagramon motor backplate.
