BASIC OPERATIONS

1. LOADING/EJECTING DISCS
The MCD-710™ can only play 3 and 5 inch CDs. Odd shaped, and oval CDs are not compatible. When load-
ing a CD into the transport tray, always hold the disc by it edge (see Figure 6). Load the disc label side up and
place it in the disc tray. Never touch the signal surface (the glossy side). To remove a disc from the tray press
the EJECT BUTTON (21), see Figure 7.
CAUTION:
• NEVER attempt to load any other objects besides a 3" or 5" CD.
• NEVER attempt to load more than one disc at a time. Doing so may result in sever damage to your unit.
• NEVER force the transport tray open or closed when the power is off, as this may result in malfunction
and damage the transport system.

by it edges and load the disc label side up.
2. SELECTING TRACKS
Select a desired track by using the TRACK KNOB (5). Turning the TRACK KNOB (5) once will select either the
next higher or lower track, depending on which way you turn it. If you are using the TRACK KNOB (5) to select
a new track during playback (a track is already in play mode) the new track you selected will immediately begin
playback as soon as the search operation is completed.

wise will take you to the previous track.
