Search by distance
You have the choice of listing matching points of interest in the distance ranges 0-5 km, 0-10
km, or 0-15 km (0-3 miles, 0-6 miles, or 0-9 miles).
A list of matching points of interest is displayed.
• If no points of interest in the chosen category are available within the distance specified, "The
specified type (chain category) is not in this area" is displayed.
• The direction to each point of interest from the current location is shown by an arrow.
• Up to 30 points of interest in order of distance from your present location are displayed. If you wish
to modify the chosen distance range, simply highlight a different one and click the
will change to reflect your new selection.
You will be asked whether to avoid motorways or not (as described in steps 3 to 5 of "Using
the Destination history" on page 46).
You may highlight a point of interest, then click right with the joystick to view it on the map (see
"Finding a Destination on the Map" on page 71).
