Use this button to take pictures of a moving subject. Using Continuous AF mode reduces the time
required for focusing.

Notes on continuous AF
Check the battery charge when using C-AF mode.
Because the camera focuses continually without pressing the Shutter button, C-AF mode needs much
more battery consumption than using S-AF or MF mode.

Set the Focus mode selector switch to "C-AF".
Frame the shot so that the subject fills the center of
the image or the entire AF frame.
Press the Shutter button down halfway. When a
short double-beep is heard, the camera focuses on
your subject. At that point, the AF frame on the
screen becomes smaller and the camera sets the
shutter speed and aperture (the indicator lamp
(green) stops blinking and remains lit).
Press the Shutter button down fully without
releasing it. When a clicking noise is heard, the
camera records the image.

The AF mode is forcibly reset to AF (CENTER).
