FLAC
FLAC significa en inglés Free lossless Audio Codec (Códec libre de
compresión de audio sin pérdida) y es un formato de archivo libre de audio
sin pérdida. Sin pérdida quiere decir que el audio se comprime sin ninguna
pérdida de calidad.

Frecuencia de muestreo
El muestreo consiste en realizar una lectura de una onda sonora (señal
analógica) en intervalos regulares y expresar la altura de la onda en cada
lectura, en formato digitalizado (lo que da lugar a una señal digital).
El número de lecturas que se realiza en un segundo se denomina
"frecuencia de muestreo" . Cuanto mayor sea el valor, más próximo estará
el sonido que se reproduzca del original.
