Centering
►
determine the center
of the fabric to be embroidered
►
mark with a fabric marker or chalk
Using the Embroidery Hoop
►
loosen the screw(s)
►
remove the inner hoop
►
the arrows on both hoops must match
►
the arrows on the large and medium hoops and on the
Mega Hoop are at the center front, on the small hoop,
they are to the right side
Embroidery Template
►
there is an embroidery template for each hoop
►
the embroidery area is marked in 3/8" (1cm) squares
►
the center and end point holes of the center lines are
with holes for transferring marks to the fabric
►
place the template in the inner hoop, so the BERNINA
logo is at the front edge (by the arrows) and can be read
►
placed in this way, the template sits automatically in the
inner hoop
►
the finger hole or the template holder make it easier to
remove the template from the hoop
Hooping the fabric
►
place the fabric on the outer hoop; line up the marked
center point on the center of the template
►
place the fabric and inner hoop on the outer hoop
►
match the arrows of both hoops
►
fit hoops into each other; ensure that the fabric does not
move
►
hoop the material to be embroidered tightly, tighten the
screw
►
remove the template
