1.9.1 Pilot Failures

There are two categories: no pilot flame and unreliable flame.
No pilot flame
1. No gas or insufficient gas supply
2. Clogged pilot orifice
3. Air in gas lines ( usually in new installations)
Unreliable flame
1. Open or grounded high limit
2. Loose/corroded wire connections
3. Low or no voltage out of thermopile
4. Bad gas valve
