Playback from a USB fl ash
drive/ USB memory card
reader
View the contents of a USB fl ash drive/
USB memory card reader through this
recorder. The USB port supports the
playback of JPEG/ MP3/ WMA and DivX
fi les.
Note:
The USB port does not support playback
from a USB hub device. Only brands and
models of digital cameras which support
USB Mass Storage Device class standard
are supported.
A
Connect a USB fl ash drive or USB
memory card reader to the USB port on
the front panel.
B
Press USB on the remote control to
access the data in the drive.
The content menu appears.
C
Use keys to navigate within the
menu and select the fi le you want to play,
then press OK.

Playback from USB

During playback, the available playback
options are displayed at the bottom of
the screen.
For more playback information, read
the chapter "Playback an audio CD (MP3/
WMA)", "Playback a picture disc" or
"Playback a DivX disc" for details.

To stop playback, press STOP x or
remove the USB fl ash drive/ USB
memory card reader from the USB port.
Helpful Hints:
– The USB port only supports the playback
of JPEG/MP3/WMA/DivX fi les.
– The USB port does not support the
connection of other USB devices except to a
USB fl ash drive / USB memory card reader.
– If the USB device does not fi t into the USB
port, a USB extension cable is required.
