Tune/ Modify a channel manually

Press SETUP.

Select [ Tuner ] > [ Manage Presets ],
then press OK.

Select a channel, then press

Use keys to seek for a valid
frequency transmission.
[ CH ]
Use keys to select a TV channel.
[ Fine ]
Use keys to increase/decrease the
frequency by 0.06~0.07 MHz.
[ Standard ]
Use keys to select a TV system
standard that produces the least distortion
of picture and sound.

To confi rm, select [ Confi rm ] and press
OK.
To cancel the changes, press BACK.

Enable NICAM sound
NICAM is a digital sound transmission system. It
transmits either one stereo channel or two
separate mono channels.

Press SETUP.

Select [ Tuner ] > [ Manage Presets ],
then press OK.

Select a channel, then press

Select [ NICAM ], then press OK
repeatedly to toggle between:
[ On ]
Enable NICAM mode.
[ Off ]
Disable NICAM mode.

To exit, press SETUP.
Receive TV channels through the
decoder

These instructions apply only if the TV channel is
transmitted through a decoder connected to the
EXT2 socket on the recorder.

Select [ Decoder ] and press OK

[ On ]
Enable reception from the decoder.
[ Off ]
