Control defective (2-3 contacts open)
Broken wire in freeze circuit
Power cord not plugged in
On-Off switch in off position
Ejector blades not in the freeze

10. Compressor overheating

Condenser air flow restricted
Condenser fan blade obstructed
Condenser fan motor stalled

11. Compressor will not stop operating

Water supply line leaking at solenoid
valve inlet

Remedy
Adjust control warmer (counterclockwise)
Replace fan motor
Lower water fill adjustment
Clean condenser
Replace bypass valve
Remedy
Check for sealed system leak or restriction
Replace bypass valve
Remedy
Replace relay
Replace overload
Replace compressor
Remedy
Replace On-Off switch
Replace hold switch
Replace control
Repair or replace wiring

Manually advance ejector blades to the
12:00 position (test ice maker and

Remove restriction (clean condenser
and grille)

Fully insert bulb into ice maker tube,
routing bulb away from compressor

Tighten or replace fitting
