Chapter 4: Detecting Targets
This chapter describes how to add targets to the Targets Table. You can use Avaya Software
Update Manager to download software only to targets listed in the Targets Table. For more

Starting the Detection Process
When you open Avaya Software Update Manager for the first time, the Targets Table appears
with no entries. In order to populate the Targets Table, you need to detect new targets.
To start the detection process:
1. Select the view in which you want to work.
