Appendix1. Troubleshooting
An error may result when an attempt is made to use ClipCopy to export
clips captured by a digitizer or sequence clips created by a sequence
editor, to the server.
Verification is performed using the A/V clips or sequence in which various A/V clips are
combined. However, if an error (error code) has resulted when exporting clips, use an
editing application to place and render the A/V clips in a sequence and then export them
or in the sequence clips, save them as A/V clips after rendering, and then export them.
Although ClipCopy does not support the importing and exporting of audio clips, they can
be rendered using a sequence editor to create A/V clips which can then be imported or
exported.
Format Error occurs when importing clips from the server.
newsBYTE/QuickCutter has specifications which support only the DVCPRO format and
prohibits the importing of clips in the DV format or DV-compatible format. It also prohibits
the importing of clips with different signal types (NTSC/PAL). As a general rule of thumb,
DVCPRO format is defined as DVCPRO (25Mbps) compression, audio 16 bits/48 kHz
sampling, 2 channels and only lock mode.
