MINIMUM OF 12" ABOVE EXPECTED
SNOW ACCUMULATION.
When penetrating roof with a 2" PVC vent pipe, a 2" electrical
conduit flashing may be used for a weather tight seal. Lubricate
flexible seal on flashing before PVC pipe is pushed through the
seal. (Field Supplied)
NOTE:
Vertical vent termination can be done by:
1. Stainless steel vent cap Figure 24 or
2. Two (2) 90° elbows as shown in Figure 24.
3. No vent cap as shown in Figure 25 (preferred method
for extremely cold climates.)
In extreme climate conditions, insulate the exposed pipe above
roof line with Armaflex type insulation.
