Installing the Windows Driver

If your computer and X-Firewire card are equipped with FW800 connections and you're using SP
2, it's necessary to run a Microsoft "hotfix" which may be found on the Microsoft website here:
Without this hotfix the driver will not install correctly.
Before starting the setup.exe driver installation program, disconnect the X-Firewire card from
the computer. You will be instructed at which point during the driver installation process to connect
the X-FireWire card. If you have multiple units, be sure to connect them all when instructed to do so.

unzip the downloaded file.

1 Double click on the setup.exe.
2 As noted onscreen, disconnect the X-FW-
equipped interface,then click on Next.
If a previous version of the driver was
installed, this window will be preceded by an
uninstallation procedure.
